Purpose: Appointment of an Internal Auditor
Audit Period: 01 April 2026 to 31 March 2027
Only empanelled Chartered Accountant (CA) firms
Must be registered with Registrar Co-operative Societies,
Rajasthan (Jaipur)
Firm must be on the 2024–27 panel notified on 28.03.2024
Financial &
Accounting Checks
Audit of cash, bank, vouchers, journals, ledgers
Bank reconciliation statements
Checking interest, provisions, liabilities
Review of loans, recoveries, advances, debtors/creditors
4. Purchases, Stores
& Inventory
Verify purchase bills, taxes, GST
Check stock records, shortages, insurance
Physical verification of stores & inventory
5. Trading & Sales
Sales contracts, invoices, receipts
Discounts, commissions, rebates
Proper accounting of milk purchase & sales
6. Statutory Compliance
GST, TDS, TCS, EPF, ESI
Timely payment of taxes and filing of returns
Verification of utilization certificates for government
grants
7.Internal Controls
& Risk
Detect fraud, negligence, delays, misuse of funds
Review internal control systems
Monthly trial balance checking
8. Physical
Verification
Fixed assets
Stock & inventory as on 31st March
Audit Fees
For Milk Unions with ₹200 crore+ turnover
Audit Fee: ₹7,500 + GST (for FY 2026–27)
Submit Expression of Interest (EOI) on CA firm letterhead
Provide firm profile (Annexure-C), including:
Firm details & partners
Past internal audit experience
Current audit assignments
GST/TDS handling capability
Submit before 10/02/2026 (5 PM)
Appointment is not automatic even after application
Management can change terms or cancel the tender
Unsatisfactory performance → audit can be terminated
One-month notice required if CA firm wants to withdraw
