TRAI invites applications from eligible audit firms for empanelment to conduct audits of
Digital Addressable Systems (DAS) as required under the 2017
Interconnection, QoS, and Tariff regulations.
The empanelment is on an all-India basis and renewed quarterly.
An applicant must:

Be a company/LLP/partnership/proprietorship registered
with ICAI.
·
Have minimum
average turnover ₹50 lakh in the last two financial years.
·
Have minimum
1 year relevant experience (from 2020 onward) in:
o
DAS (SMS/CAS) audits, or
o
Billing/metering/payment systems using software tools/banking IT
systems.
·
Have minimum
3 full-time professionals (CA/CS/Cost
Accountant/Engineer), with at least one
CA/CS/CoA, employed for ≥6
months.
·
Have technical
audit professionals with DAS system knowledge.
·
Not be blacklisted/disqualified or
involved in criminal misconduct.
·
Be independent of
broadcasters/DPOs (no involvement in CAS/SMS/EPG systems).
Documentary proofs and various mandatory undertakings must be
submitted.
