    Purpose & Scope

    • The ISA-AT is the qualifying assessment for members enrolled in the ISA Course, required for obtaining the ISA certification.
    • The test under the “3.0 Syllabus” evaluates competence in Information Systems Audit principles and practices, enabling CAs to specialise in IT-audit and technology-driven assurance domains.

What This Means for ICAI Members (Practical Implications)

    • Members registered for the ISA Course now have clarity on the date, mode, fee, and registration deadlines for the February 2026 ISA-AT.
    • Applications must be submitted online between 15–28 December 2025 with payment of ₹2,000 through the specified modes.
    • Selection of the exam city should be made carefully, keeping in mind that a centre may be withdrawn if candidate turnout is low.
    • The exam being in CBT mode requires familiarity with computer-based testing environments.
    • Clearing ISA-AT enables members to obtain ISA certification, strengthening professional capabilities in Information Systems Audit and IT assurance services.
